I have a little bit of an issue regarding the topic of pansexuality. First off, because I think that it’s an unnecessary edition to sexual orientations. Ten years from now, there will probably be five other sub-categories that branched off from bisexuality because some little detail didn’t “fit in” with it’s original definition. Why make things so fucking confusing and have a million different labels, orientations, and definitions? On the topic of how pansexuality was put into the mix because bisexuality allegedly wasn’t variant enough, it’s attraction to both sexes.
suggest people try reading this very intelligent take on this topic by a very well respected Israeli genderqueer feminist academic and theorist : Jumping in: some differences and similarities between bisexuality and pansexuality
